We love Disneyland

Can't you just see the joy on his little face? We love Disneyland and for christmas we got each other annual passes. We get to go to the Magic Kingdom the last weekend of March with our good friends Meredith and Andy, it is going to be awesome.
Here is my dilemma. Should I bring Emolyn? She is so well behaved and so much fun and so happy. But then one person always has to stay with her and cant ride the rides. She can't walk yet so she will have to be pushed or carried. She doesn't get characters and stuff yet. But she has cute Disney clothes! And I absolutely hate to be away from her. Andy and Meredith said they are totally ok with either one. They are awesome.
I know everyone has an opinion about when to take a kid to Disneyland. We are going again for sure in August and she will be coming then. We want to sneak in a trip before then also. SO, what should we do?

I JUST went to Disneyland and was amazed by how many little little kids were there (and REALLY pregnant women, which I actually found weird). So you wouldn't be alone ...

If no one minds being the babysitter while everyone else rides, than it'll be fun!

On the other hand, if you're like my friend Michelle and want to rides so many rides that it comes out to, like, $2/per ride than Emolyn might be a hindrance...

either way, you'll have fun ...

Whatever you do she needs to wear hats more!!! She looks soooo cute! And you know me and hats...big supporter! She might get the whole concept of Dinsneyland better in August. When she can for sure walk and really get into all the characters. Although, she is a really great baby so I don't think the person left behind to watch her while the others are on the ride would mind that she is there. what a pickle!

Because I love Disneyland so much and because she's over a year, I'd be inclined to leave her home, preferably with a minimum of one responsible adult. Especially if it's a short trip--that would be a nice way to ease into it.

BUT I'm saying this as a mom who has already gone thru the first time of leaving the kiddo with the grandmas, so I'm biased. If you really, really want to take her that's what you should do.

What are the dates you're at Disneyland? How many days are you going? What if you take her one of the days and let me pick her up from you and hang out with her one of the other days? I've I'm out in California and not home for Spring Break, I'd LOVE to do that. I think I'm probably home when you're here but let me know. I'll make the drive to Anaheim. It's not too far from me. Let me know. Then you can get one full day without her and one full day with her (if you're going 2 days)!

I say take her! She is one of the easiest babies EVER! Plus...she is so cute! Take Amy up on her offer and get the best of both worlds. I would definitely take her if I were you! Love to watch you being a mom! Thanks for letting me be a part of your family's life!

I vote for more hats too... I also vote that you send her over to England to visit Aunt Miranda.

Since you already posted that you will take her then I suggest, take her! It is the easy answer since you already made up your mind! So now that I have read everyone's comments I say "take her, let Amy watch her, and more hats!!!"
