6 month family pictures

I got my hair did today so we decided to do 6 month old family photos, and Emolyn and I are sort of matchy matchy. I wanted the curtains open since it was sunny and pouring rain out (which is so not right) but it wouldn't work with the light.
Emolyn wanted to show off what a good stander she is!
This was her prepping for the picture. She just found her feet this week and it has been so fun to watch! She is such an awesome baby. Since we have been taking her to church everyone in the nursery has said what a happy baby she is and so low maintenance lets hope she stays that way!
We are loving being at home together. We got a cool opportunity to go stay at a friends time share overnight tomorrow so we are going to take a quick overnighter up in Sedona AZ (aka the cosmic center of the earth). High 63 degrees, scattered showers, we are thrilled. Pics to come! Wish us luck as we buy some crystals!

I loved getting to officially meet Emolyn for the first time on Sunday. What a doll baby. And if she's this content now, I think it's just how she is. My oldest, Sam was like this. He was like this in my womb and the same after he came out. One day I was picking him up from the nursery and the workers looked at me with look of shock and said,"Well, we saw a different side of Sam today. It's the first time we've ever seen him cry." He was TWO! They had played outside riding little cars and when they made him go back inside, he cried. He's still like this. Max, on the other hand, was totally WILD inside me and once he came out, that kid his the ground runnin' and I don't think he'll ever stop. And he was VERY fussy and hard to handle as a baby... I'm still trying to reign him in.... probably will always be. But he makes me giggle every day when he covers me with kisses up my arm like Pepe LePue (sp?) and in his Elvis voice say,"I luv you, my sweetie pie. Give me a smooch". They are all so different. But I think you have one content, happy little girl on your hands and I think that's just how she will be. ;) Just don't bank on the next one being the same! LOL! Ya' just don't know...

What a beautiful family! Your hair looks great, the family looks sweet as can be, and I was sitting by our window during the rain so I can imagine how you wanted it to look outside! :)
